Wildlife
One of my least favourite shoots was at a wildlife park near me. I have a little bit of a problem after visiting hear with animals in captivity, but especially ones that look as upset as the ones below. I have visited other places and have got some generally nice places but this one really doesn’t show happy animals.
This one really broke my heart because he sat there like this forever and I took the shot feeling really sad for the poor animal.
This shot was even more heart breaking due to the blood on his face. I know it’s probably caused by him, but he was in this small little cage for us all to see with large brick walls surrounding him, really not enough room for a animal like this.
Lovely shot of the snakes there, the Rhino one is heart breaking, even if it was self inflicted it was due to the captive conditions, even his eyes look sad
Glad you liked the shot. He seemed very sad to me too. I talked with the person working there and he mentioned they have access to this field, but choose to stay in the pen and fight between themselves. It made it a bit less horrible. Thanks for the comment.
